The first Farewell-to-Spring (Clarkia) blooms of the season are upon us, signaling that spring is in full effect in Southern California! As you admire the blooms this month, consider making a tax-deductible donation to support Theodore Payne Foundation (TPF).

Just like our beloved native plants, TPF’s revenues go through a seasonal cycle, with a busy spring and much slower summer. Your support this May is crucial to our success through the dry season, and helps us prepare for an abundant fall.

Donations now through June 1st will be matched! Our major donor group, the Friends of Ted, have pledged $33,000 in matching funds to double your impact today.

This year, for the first time ever, April showers rained down on our Native Plant Garden Tour. Undeterred, our community came out in force, with thousands of people admiring water capture features in action. Adding to the milestones for this year, we surpassed 1,000 native plant professionals trained through our award-winning native plant landscaper certifcation program. Native plants are growing in so many ways, and TPF is leading the transition. Together, we are increasing habitat value throughout our towns and cities.

None of this can happen without donor support. Supporting TPF is easy:

Thank you for considering TPF in your giving. Act now to double your impact and help native plants thrive across Southern California.

Happy gardening,

Evan Meyer, Executive Director
