Behind the Scenes at Theodore Payne Foundation with Katie Tilford

Join TPF’s Katie Tilford for a guided tour of areas not usually open to the public. Visit our plant propagation and seed conservation facilities, and learn more about our work to make a wide selection of California native plants available to gardeners.

This tour will be held outdoors in working production facilities. We ask guests to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, and to prepare for up to 90 minutes of walking on steep, uneven, and wet surfaces. Water bottles and sun protection are also strongly encouraged.

Katie Tilford is a certified horticulturist, former nursery manager, and Administrative Assistant at Theodore Payne Foundation. She is passionate about popularizing botanical knowledge and finding ways that plants can connect us.
