Wildfire is an inherent part of life in southern California. Learn how garden design and maintenance can help protect homes in high-risk fire areas. This program will introduce you to the basics of wildfire in southern California through the lens of California native plants and offer easy actions you can take at home to create and maintain a beautiful landscape that is both fire-wise and habitat rich.

This an introductory level program for audiences living in Rancho Cucamonga and surrounding areas that will address the region’s native habitats and fire history. It will be held online via Zoom. An access code will be sent to attendees in advance of the class. A Zoom account is not required to attend.
