Show us your biodiversity! Theodore Payne Foundation is partnering with the City Nature Challenge to document our environment. The City Nature Challenge is an international effort to find and document plants and wildlife in cities across the globe.

There are three ways to participate!

1 — Bring your phone or camera to TPF between April 26 and April 29 and document the nature you see! Be sure to add your observations to the new TPF iNaturalist project! (Note that we are closed Sunday and Monday, and some parts of our grounds will be inaccessible.)

2 — April 27, 9 AM: Join local naturalist Roger Klemm in Stough Canyon for a family walk to explore biodiversity in the Verdugo Mountains. Click here for details and to RSVP.

3 — April 27, 10 AM: Join TPF K-12 Educator Diana Sherwood at the Autry Museum in Griffith Park to learn about native plants and photograph and upload observations. Click here for details.

Log in to iNaturalist and upload your observations using the tags #citynaturechallenge and #theodorepaynefoundation!
