Join Poppy & Finch founder, Weina Dinata, for an hour and a half of hands-on learning with her virtual DIY kokedama workshop using native plants. A native plant advocate and botanical designer seasoned in the art of moss ball or kokedama (a Japanese art form of bonsai without a container), Weina will teach you how to create a striking and unique piece for your home and garden. Perfect for those who don’t have a garden or a lot of space for plants — you can be a steward for habitat anywhere you live! The workshop will include a step-by-step breakdown of the process and helpful care tips for keeping your creation happy and healthy.

This class will be held online via Zoom. Students will have access to a recording of the class for 48 hours after the live event.

Weina Dinata is the founder of Poppy & Finch. Her work is to help people connect with nature in a meaningful and ecological way. She now lives in Portland, Oregon where she continues her work and transformed my garden from a lawn into an educational habitat garden.
