Right Plant, Right Place comes to Redondo Beach!

Knowing native habitats can help you choose the right plants for your place. This course discusses local plant communities and their conditions, as well as how to assess the conditions of your garden site, including climate, soil, sunlight and space. A valuable class for beginners and the prerequisite for our Three-Part Native Garden Design Course.

This class will feature a visit to The SEA Lab’s restoration nursery and spotlight native plant species for local coastal gardens!

Class registration includes admission to The SEA Lab. Parking in the adjacent lot is $1.50/hour.

Andrew Chaves is TPF Director of Operations. He is a former education supervisor at The SEA Lab and has led trainings in planting, propagation, and seed collection in its restoration nursery.
