Whether you are starting from scratch or filling the gaps, join one or both of these sessions for pre-sale help wading through the huge array of native plants available at TPF’s upcoming Fall Plant Sale. Carol will cover reliable, easy-care favorites as well as challenging species and cultivars for more seasoned gardeners willing to experiment. Each session will include a walk in the demonstration gardens for a close-up look at mature specimens.

Carol Bornstein is former Director of the Nature Gardens at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and co-author of two books, the award-winning California Native Plants for the Garden and Reimagining the California Lawn. For nearly 30 years, she was the horticulturist at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. She is a member of TPF’s Board of Directors.
