Gifts of stocks, bonds, and other securities can be one of the most advantageous ways of contributing. Benefits of giving this way include bypassing capital gains taxes, claiming the full value of the gift as a charitable deduction, and making a larger gift than if you first sold the securities and then donated the proceeds. IRA Contributions

One of the simplest ways you can give to our organization is through an IRA contribution. If you are 70 ½ years old or older, you can give up to $105,000 from your IRA directly to Theodore Payne Foundation and avoid paying income taxes on the contribution. Ask your IRA plan administrator to make a gift from your IRA to us.

General Donation

Donate conveniently by credit card to instantly provide crucial resources for TPF’s programs and operation. You can opt to cover the processing fee associated with your donation, or even make it a monthly recurring gift.

Friends of Ted

The Friends of Ted provide crucial funds to support Theodore Payne Foundation by committing to an annual gift of $5,000 or more. This philanthropic group gets together three times a year to get updates on TPF’s work and major projects, tour beautiful gardens, and hear from experts in the field on topics like biodiversity, local-sourcing, and community engagement.

Donate your car, truck, or RV to TPF! Our trusted service provider (careasy.org) makes sure your vehicle is easily and properly handled, and that you get your tax deduction.

Donor-Advised Funds

Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are one of the most tax efficient and organized way to give. A DAF is an investment account used for charitable giving.
